In August, I launched the new website for Crossroads Prison Ministries Canada. (Read the original blog post.) That launch was the first of three phases of the project. Today, I’m excited to reveal phase 2: an e‑commerce shop.
With the e‑commerce shop, Crossroads can now explain their ministry by sharing their specific needs and requesting funding in specific areas. In other words, you can ask Crossroads to put your money towards sending Bibles to prisoners, or sending Bible courses to prisoners. You can even help pay for postage (which is really expensive for bulky lesson plans). Check out the catalogue.
The website’s new e‑commerce addition is powered by WooCommerce, but features an entirely unique front-end design. It’s designed to be intuitive to use on mobile and desktop, and to make browsing and checking out as quick and easy as possible. Crossroads’ blog has also been re-designed to match their new storefront, so the website’s aesthetic remains consistent.
